Health Guarantee!
Our mission is to raise healthy, high-quality puppies that will bring joy and companionship into the lives of their new families for many years. While I understand that no puppy can ever truly replace a beloved pet who has passed away, I believe that welcoming a new furry friend into your home can help ease the sadness of loss and bring comfort in the form of a new, loving companion.
All puppies purchased from us come with a minimum 1 Year health guarantee provided by the breeder. For detailed information on what this guarantee covers, please refer to the specific laws and regulations in your state.
Within ten days of purchasing your new puppy, you must have it examined by a licensed veterinarian. If the vet finds, within this period, that the puppy is clinically ill or has died from an injury or illness likely contracted before or on the date of sale, you have the following options:
- Return the puppy for a full refund.
- Return the puppy for a replacement of equal value.
- Keep the puppy and receive reimbursement for reasonable veterinary fees, up to the purchase price.
Note that these options are not available if the seller has provided a health certificate and disclosed any existing health problems at the time of sale.
If, within 30 days of purchase, a licensed vet determines that the puppy has a congenital or hereditary defect affecting its health, or if the puppy dies from such a defect, you are entitled to the same options as listed above.
You must inform the seller of the veterinarian’s name, address, and phone number within two days of the vet’s certification. Failure to notify the seller within two business days will result in the forfeiture of your rights. Laws vary by state, so please familiarize yourself with your state’s specific regulations.
For regions without mandatory health guarantees, any breeder listing on our site is required to provide a minimum 1 year health guarantee. In states with longer guarantee periods, those laws take precedence.
Some breeders may offer extended health guarantees. These guarantees typically cover genetic diseases identified through proper vet testing but do not cover routine veterinary costs or injuries due to owner negligence. Documentation must be provided to the breeder for compensation.
What I need from you:
Nothing would make me happier than knowing that I have been a part of bringing a happy healthy puppy to your family. To help ensure this I will have a veterinarian examine your puppy not more than one week prior to the date you take possession of your puppy, and I ask that you have your veterinarian do an examination of your puppy not more than 5 days after receiving your puppy.
Your puppy will come with all age appropriate vaccinations and dewormings, but it may still need more to be fully vaccinated. I will send a copy of all vaccines and dewormings your puppy has received with your puppy along with when the next set of vaccinations and dewormings is recommended. After that you and your veterinarian should establish what vaccines and care your puppy should receive.
Exceptions to the Guarantee:
I cannot guarantee the disposition or temperament, conformation, size, weight, color, or breeding ability of your new puppy.
I cannot replace your puppy for hip or elbow dyspepsia if your puppy is overweight and/or if you cannot produce a history of joint supplement vitamins, and maintained a proper diet of premium foods. All food changes must be approved for your health guarantee to withstand by the breeder.
In the event that your puppy is diagnosed with hip or elbow dyspepsia the breeder will require x-rays and a second opinion from a Vet of the breeders choice.
I cannot replace your puppy if routine medical care has not been maintained for your puppy. This includes all vaccines, deworming, heart worm prevention, and flea and tick prevention. You are required to have your puppy seen annually by your veterinarian and maintain all vaccines and preventative care as recommended by your veterinarian.
This guarantee does not include any costs associated with spaying and neutering this puppy including that of U UN-descended testicles.
Failure to receive adequate and regular veterinary care will void this guarantee.
